Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Overview
St Helena Clear Lake Pulmonary Rehabilitation is an evidence-based program designed to improve the quality of each participant’s life through careful assessment of each individual’s needs, appropriate setting of goals, structured therapy and exercise training.
The team provides an individualized treatment plan, education, self-management training and psychosocial support under the medical direction of John Hodgkin, MD, a world renowned pulmonary specialist and founder of the program.
Classes meet three times weekly for six to 12 weeks. Education and exercise are integral components of the program. Upon completion of the formal course, participants are encouraged to continue with an ongoing maintenance exercise program.

The benefits of the program include breathing more comfortably, medical management, greater mobility, reduced anxiety and depression, and the ability to do activities of daily living with greater ease.
Insurance Coverage
Major health insurance companies, including Medicare cover outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation. We will check with your insurance carrier to determine if you are eligible.
