Partial Hospitalization

Our accredited Partial Hospitalization Program, located in Vallejo—just 40 minutes from St. Helena—provides a flexible structure that enables patients age 18 and older to receive intensive mental health care while continuing to live in their own homes.

Patients may choose among several options for the program, according to their individual needs and lifestyles. Typically, patients take part in the program five days per week for six hours a day over the course of four to six weeks.

Just as in our inpatient program, we provide thorough and comprehensive care from our team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, social workers and others. Elements of the program include:

• Individual and group psychotherapy
• Family therapy
• Medication management
• Education groups, focusing on symptom recognition and control

Our goal is to help our patients increase their level of functioning as they gain new skills in social interaction, communication and other activities of daily living.
