Jennifer Egan, RN, OCN, CCRP, Clincial Research Coordinator
Jennifer coordinates clinical research, patient participation in clinical trials and the tumor registry at the Martin-O’Neil Cancer Center.
Jennifer’s journey in cancer care began years ago when she had the opportunity to work with a physician who was developing new cancer drugs.
“From the beginning, I’ve enjoyed working with cancer patients,” she says. “So much progress is being made in the areas of cancer research and treatment. I am very fortunate to be working in a field where the outlook for patients is steadily improving.”
Her extensive experience working in research and cancer-related clinical trials includes serving as clinical trials quality and compliance coordinator at the Kaiser Foundation Research Institute and Director of Clinical Research Management for the Oregon Health and Science University Cancer Institute. She has a nursing degree from Portland Community College and is a Certified Oncology Nurse and Certified Clinical Research Professional.
