	Apr. 2013	St. Helena Hospital Napa Valley (SHNV) Named by Becker's Hospital Review as 5th Best Performing Hospital for Postoperative Blood Clot Rating St. Helena Hospital Napa Valley has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review with the fifth lowest rate of serious blood clots after surgery of over 4,000 Medicare-certified hospitals in the United States. The serious blood clot rate is based on an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality patient safety indicator — postoperative pulmonary embolism or deep vein thrombosis rate.

	Mar. 2013	Blue Distinction for Specialty Care® – Hip Certification St. Helena Hospital Napa Valley (SHNV) is proud to be the recipient of the Blue Distinction award for the Coon Joint Replacement Institute hip replacement program. Blue Distinction® Centers meet overall quality measures for patient safety and outcomes, developed with input from the medical community. Blue Distinction® Centers also meet cost measures that address consumers’ need for affordable healthcare.

The list names hospitals in the country exhibiting excellence in heart care and research, selected based on clinical accolades, outstanding local and national reputations, recognition for quality care, and contribution to the field of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery.

	Nov. 2013	Adventist Health Home Care Among Nation’s Home Care Elite Adventist Health Home Care Services in Lake County were named to the 2012 HomeCare Elite list compiled by Outcome Concept Systems, Inc. (OCS), a Seattle-based company providing data products and benchmark services for home health, hospice and private duty agencies. The performance criteria included: quality of care, quality improvement, patient experience, process measure implementation, and financial performance.

	Oct. 2012	Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval™ - Knee Certification St. Helena Hospital Napa Valley (SHNV) is proud to be the recipient of the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval™ for the Coon Joint Replacement Institute knee replacement program. The Joint Commission is the nation's oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. SHNV has demonstrated compliance with the Joint Commission's high national standards for health care quality and safety in disease-specific care.

	Sept. 2012	St Helena Hospital Clear Lake Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program Certified by Industry Leader St Helena Hospital Clear Lake is proud to announce the certification of its pulmonary rehabilitation program by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).

	Sept. 2012	Top In The West Path to Excellence September 19, 2012, St. Helena, CA. NRC Picker, a division of National Research Corporation (NRCI), has awarded St. Helena Hospital-Napa Valley its 2012 Path to Excellence award for “Top performing hospital with 100 to 300 beds.” Patients rated St. Helena Hospital Napa Valley higher than any other of its size in the western United States.
